The Vintage Fantasy wedding is one with many very special details! The Groom's Grandmother's dress became a hand-stitched teddybear. The Bride's flowers were created of old book pages and dress makers patterns... then finished off with style using beautiful pieces of family jewelry. The Ballroom at Unity Village in Lee's Summit (Missouri) saw layers of crystal wrapped around vintage antique collections and river birch trees - creating height and an intimate setting. The final touch: crystal chandeliers that flickered with a soft glow throughout the evening...

The Woodland Vinyard Wedding is a whimsical evening of mushrooms, wine bottles and antiques. The wedding itself is one of moss-covered stairs with ceramic mushrooms that echo the colors of the bouquets. The flowergirl carried a basket with a heart on the handle, bearing the Bride & Groom's initials. Handmade flower boxes filled with yellow orchids, a curtain of yellow lilies draped from the upper rails of the Elm's Hotel Gazebo (Excelsior Springs, MO) made a wonderful backdrop for this event. The main ballroom was stunning in yellow - River Birch trees with forsythia branches that glow set in the middle of a bed of moss with mushrooms and river rocks - making a beautiful tablescape. A revolving flower chandelier took your eye upward for one more lavish dose of color.

An evening at the Stone Haus Winery Farm in Lee's Summit (Missouri) is made more beautiful with all the colors of sherbet! The Wedding set in the vinyard enhanced with roses, callas and Stargazer lilies, made for a stunning dispay of pleasing colors that just seemed to make you smile! The Bride's bouquet is graced with three strands of pearls woven through the floral arrangement... after the ceremony, they are a gift for the bride to enjoy for a lifetime. The Ballroom was filled with sherbet roses and more callas placed in a bed of rose petals and candles. Even though they had a ballroom, there is nothing like dancing under the stars and paper lanterns, next to the water feature at the vinyard.

Uptown Lavender
The Uptown Theatre (Kansas City, MO) played host to a very pretty purple-hued wedding. Bluebird roses and 24 karat leaves clustered together to make the Bridal bouquet. The ceremony was held before a softly-glowing white curtain, draped with purple-swirled organza. The Unity candle placed on a tall table at "center stage". The ballroom is set with floating candles seated in a bed of rose petals or floating above a purple rose. Centerpieces are accented with crystals and warm candles. The new couple's first dance is enhanced with an outline of purple lights that add richness into the night.

A Tiffany Wedding is one that you will never forget. After a beautiful service at The Elms, Hotel and Spa (Excelsior Springs, MO), the Bride and Groom enjoyed dinner as a new couple under their own private gazebo. Upon entering the Ballroom, trees drippimg in crystal and wrapped in white satin make this room very elegant. From the bustle-bouquets on the backs of the flowergirls, to the Groom's Mother playing the violin, to tiffany ribbons holding silver lanterns under the eight dozen roses, nestled with white ostrich plume feathers... this wedding is has glamour, but allows the " I Do" to remain the most important part of the day.

An evening at The Stanley in Lee's Summit Missouri was filled with hot pink and bold orange colors! The Bride's bouquet was made of paper flowers and enhanced with Grandma's jewelry. A button from Grandpa's shirt filled in as the Bride's wedding ring - letting her know that Grandfather was there in spirit. The corsages and boutonniere where made with engaement photos. The photo in the Mother's flowers where placed in a locket that could later be added to a chain. The boutonniere have photos placed in a soda-cap charm nestled into the center of a hand-shaped paper flower. After the beautiful wedding, the evening continued with paper lanterns that where lit in pinks and orange. Alternate tables were decorated in gerbera daisies placed in a paper puff, seated on an orange satin and chocolate swirled overlay. The flowergirl made an entrance as she wore her custom-made hat! Everyone left the event with heart-felt memories and a smile on their face.

The Touch of Blue Wedding is located in Lawrence, Kansas and is a rustic setting in an old barn (with modern amenities). The Bride's bouquet in a soft blue hydrangea with white calla lillies nestled within. Bouquets in full white look stunning against the beautiful soft blue dresses. The Groomsmen are all wearing photo charms - a great alternative to flowers - and an elegant way to show off the Bride and Groom. Centerpieces let everyone share the Couple's memories as a variety of photographs are lazer-printed on tall glass vials, illuminated from within by a floating candle. Blue lanterns hanging from our tree sculptures add height to the barn and make the space fill more intimate.

The Kauffman Center of Performing Arts (Kansas City, MO) is a perfect venue for a very modern and edgy wedding - made elegant with crystal and candles. After a wedding in Mexico, the Reception has to be just as grand and there is no better place than the Kauffman! Large glass windows make for a panoramic view of the City that is only enhanced by the sunset that changes the room's mood. Large ten foot tall arrangements of pure white grace the top of the four foot tall counters of the bar. Even though our arrangements reach fourteen feet in the air, they are still grand in the scale of things. Using chandeliers with candles floating over a bed of roses, candleliers with tall glass cylinders and white roses and groups of underwater orchids with floating candles throughout the tablescape... a very simple, yet elegant vision. The Bride's headtable is set under an satin arbor wrapped with crystal flower branches that are illuminated with over a thousand lights. Breathtaking!
